One of Boston University’s 17 degree-granting schools and colleges, Metropolitan College (MET) offers part-time, full-time, and international students a remarkable range of choices for study to help enrich their lives and advance their careers.

Programs

There are more than 60 undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs available at BU’s Metropolitan College, along with hundreds of individual courses—all designed for the student who seeks a creative, flexible setting, whether that means part-time study in the evening, convenient locations, or online and blended formats.

Accreditation

Boston University is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), one of six nationally recognized accrediting agencies, and is an accredited member of AACSB International―the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

In addition, the College’s Master of Science programs in Administrative Studies and management are accredited by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) Program Accreditation System (EPAS), and the master’s degree programs in Computer Information Systems and Project Management are accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC).

Boston University is designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education and Research by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security. Metropolitan College’s information security programs are certified by the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS).
